Good news for Panama: free-trade agreements between Panama and Canada are already nearing completion, after years of meeting and consultation.
Among other similarities, Panama and Canada have discovered that they have very similar banking systems, which happen to be more conservative. Having this similarity will be useful for having a joint solution to the global economic crisis.
