The new President and Executive of the Panama Workers Union, Ismael Ruiz met with some of the respective people in the industry and government to discuss issues that should be dealt with. The most pressing issue is the new Bill brought into the Panama Parliament which aims to changes the postal regulations to make the market more open which might precipitate that modernization of Panama Postal services with job losses and staff reductions.
