Social Strike in Panama

Social organization in Panama are protesting for better salaries and high cost of living.

Delegates from the coordinating group presented several proposals to fight for respect to life and dignity of the people and they are demanding answer to the Parliament. They planning a 48-hour general strike out.

The bill presented includes a salary increase generally, price cost control and end to privatization of public services like transportation, healthcare, education, water supply etc.
