200 Tons a day of waste will be processed in 2008 at a second waste processing plan in Panama using plasma technology. The process will produce "green electrical power".

First Trip Great Second Trip Hopefully Better

US-Panama Free Trade Agreement Not Set In Stone

The Torrijos administration is publicizing the Trade Agreement even though the Government hasn't released any part of the agreement for print. It seems there is rumour that the U.S. is telling Panama that several points are still going to have to be renegotiated.

Sea Turtle Conservation

At night turtles bury their eggs on several beaches on the Azuero Peninsula and unfortunately hundreds of people would go to the beaches and collect the turtle eggs for sale. This was jeopardizing the survivle of the olive ridley sea turtle.
