Touring Panama can be done in many ways. You can take a $5 taxi ride to just about anywhere. You can even get to the airport for $0.50. Backpacking around can be done for about $20. Twelve bodies have been exhumed by Panama authorities because of an allegations linking cough syrup, antihistamine tables, calamine lotion or rash ointment to diethylene glyco, a chemical cousin of antifreeze.
