Exploration Agreement Signed

Bellhaven Copper and Gold Inc. announced that through its wholly owned subsidiary Aurum Exploraton Inc., it has signed an Exploration and Development Agreement with Western Troy. Through this joint venture they will be working dilligently to bring a number of properties online in the near future.

Touring Panama

Touring Panama can be done in many ways. You can take a $5 taxi ride to just about anywhere. You can even get to the airport for $0.50. Backpacking around can be done for about $20. But the best way is apparently by air.

Radiation Detection Equipment Installed

In order to help prevent smuggling of nuclear and other radioactive material the United States and Panama signed a Declaration of Principles. Megaports involvement will install specialized radiation detection equipment to detect all shipments of nuclear and other radioactive materials.

Panama Claims 1-0 Victory for Gold Cup

Alberto Blanco after 86 tiring minutes of play against Costa Rica finally scored with a 20 meters shot into the corner of the goal and earned a berth in the 12 team Gold Cup in the United States in June.

Tainted Medicine Possible for 51 Deaths

Twelve bodies have been exhumed by Panama authorities because of an allegations linking cough syrup, antihistamine tables, calamine lotion or rash ointment to diethylene glyco, a chemical cousin of antifreeze. This chemical causes kidney and nurological damage and they feel that perhaps up to 51 deaths could be involved.

Student Leader Murdered in 1970

Heliodoro Portugal disappeared and was murdered back in 1970 and finally The Republic of Panama has been sued before the Iner American Court. Portugal disappeared at the same time opposition leaders were arrested, tortured and/or murdered.

One Million Nets 51 Month Sentence

Homer W. Forster also known as "Dr. Leonard Adams" was sentenced to 51 months and $1.7 million in restitution. Investors in Atlanta had their money laundered by this imposter.

Publishing Corrupt Crime Could be Banned

The "Corruption Protection Act" which would make publishing of incriminating documents a criminal offence which could lead to prison sentences. Legislators are pushing this through and it has passed its first reading on February 7th.

Behind the scenes this 64 year old man has been writing poetry, a well kept secret until he started designing his own greeting cards. Valentine's Day on the 14th brings out his best.

Papayas Soon To Be Ripe

The larger fruits are just about ripe enough for the enjoyment of eating them fresh like melons. Apparently, these fruits can be used either ripe or unripe. If ripened to the point of softness you can use it to tenderize tough cuts of beef.
