A 100-MW hydroelectric plant will be build by a local subsidiary of GDF SUEZ to satisfy growing demand for energy in Panama.
The plant will be composed of three sequential units that will be put up in succession in the Chiriqui River.
The energy that will come from this plant has already been sold and will be distributed to the buyers for 10 years, from 2013 to 2022. More details here at Market Watch.
