The controversial actor, Mel Gibson, is thinking of heading south to make a new movie in Panama, about Spanish explorer Vasco Nunez de Balboa, the first European to see the Pacific Ocean from its eastern shore.

Shrine Club to hold Cajun fund-raiser

Friday will see the third annual Mardi Gras and Auction taking place at the Shrine Club. This is the club's second biggest fund-raiser, after the Freemason and Shriner Golf Tournaments.
